UK: 15,418 EVs sold in 2014.

In 2014 EV sales surged in excess of 400% to 14,518 EVs for the year. 

Of these, 6,697 (46% of total EV sales, up 166% YOY) were pure EV (BEV) and 7,821 (54% of total EV sales, up 628% YOY) were plug-in hybrid (PHEV). (source: SMMT)
