As of September, 2014 sales of plug-in electric cars in the UK are 8,803, so it looks like full year sales could reach 10,000 units for the first time.
Of the 8,803 sales, 4,500 were pure electric and 4,303 were PHEV.
By the end of the year the UK EV car parc could reach 17,000 units.
