Fisker: $170m sales not enough

Apparently Fisker had 2012 sales of US$170m and that was still not enough to save it from bankruptcy. That and I recall, some pretty one-sided reporting of their challenges by journalists. I am always saddened by the repeated cheap shots from some sections of the media, basically lazy reporting that can bring good companies down. The reporting of Tesla's fires without the context of the number of ICE vehicles that catch fire each year, the reporting of the G-Wiz crash tests without the context of it being a quadricycle which is not subject to or designed to pass those same crash tests. It is hard enough getting new vehicles to market and takes a lot of money, effort and belief. It would be nice if there was a bot more recognition and allowance made for the good guys that are actually doing something to change the world for the better, rather than just firising off cheap shots.
